Chile: FTA Brings New Opportunities
A
newly-signed Free Trade Agreement (FTA)
with the United States propels Chile into prime market position for
U.S. exporters. Chile has been one of the most dynamic and
promising markets in Latin America due to market-led reforms and an
increasingly diversified economy. Now, the new FTA further
strengthens the already open business climate between the two
countries by eliminating many tariffs for U.S. products as well as
reinforcing the climate for intellectual property rights,
telecommunications development, services and investment. Watch the
On the Road Market Brief to learn more about the new business
opportunities in the Chilean market.
